Hi bookworms!

So I know this post is suuuuper late, but I have been busy with university essays and work so I haven’t had time to post this yet!

But I am here to discuss the books that I’d like to read in the rest of the month of May,

  1. A Court of Wings and Ruin

I have just recently finished my reread of ACOMAF and, as predicted, I really loved it! I rated it five stars and just cannot wait to continue on with the trilogy.

2. Wicked Fox by Kat Cho

I bought this book in April and it has been glaring at me from my bookshelf since then, so I just know I need to pick it up!

3. The Girl Who Drank The Moon by Kelly Barnhill

I really want to get more into middle grade books this month. I bought this book and Aru Shah, and I plan to buy more and make my middlegrade collection bigger.

4. Fullmetal Alchemist volumes 7, 8 and 9

I am literally craving manga at the moment! I have the bind up of the three volumes and they’re so quick to read.

5. Escaping from Houdini by Kerri Maniscalco

I am currently binging this series and loving it. Audrey-Rose has to be one of my favourite people to read about.

6. They Went Left by Monica Hesse

Unknown

I read The Girl In The Blue Coat when it was first released and really enjoyed it, so ordered her other two novels to try. I loved Monica Hesse’s first book so much.

7. Daughter of Smoke and Bone

This will be a reread for me! I bought the other two books in the trilogy and plan to binge them but I read DoSaB years ago and can’t really remember what happens in it so I need to reread it.

8. Winterwood by Erin Earnshaw

I am so excited for this! I bought it after hearing some booktubers rave about it and I was so happy when it was delivered because it’s honestly a beautiful book.

9. The Last Magician by Lisa Maxwell

One of my most highly anticipated fantasy reads! I know nothing about it, and I don’t want to either – I want to go into this completely blind. The reason I am so excited about this is because of the reviews I’ve heard about it – it sounds so good.

10. Aurora Rising by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

I never read sci-fi books so I bought this to hopefully start off my love for the genre. I hope it works because I’d love to get more into sci-fi. Also, it is such a beautiful book! The pages are sprayed purple and the cover is gorgeous.

Those are the books I hope to read in May. It might not be very accurate as I am more of a mood reader, but I hope I stick to it. If not, these books are seriously high on my TBR!

Thanks for reading,

Demi x
