Twenty Books I’d Like To Read Soon πŸ“š

Hello bookworms!Today’s post is to discuss the twenty books I’d like to read soon.I know I haven’t been posting recently. I have had a lot of things going on in my private life – my chronic illness has been flaring up, my Nan hasn’t been very well and I have just started a new job so I’ve had to do a lot of training.I’ve also not been managing to read much recently. I have read 15 books so far this year which I’m still happy about, but I know I could’ve read more which is disappointing. Here are twenty books I’d like to get to in soon:

1. The Final Empire by Brandon SandersonI really don’t understand how I haven’t read this book yet. I’ve attempted to read it twice and despite loving it, I stopped reading it because I was in a massive slump. However, this is a book I literally need to read ASAP.

2. The Dark Vault by V. E. SchwabHow can I write a list and not mention V. E. Schwab?! Her books The Archived and The Unbound have been on my TBR forever, and when a bind-up called The Dark Vault I knew I had to pick it up.

3. Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare So I have already read this book and Lord of Shadows, however I really want to read the third book in the trilogy but I can’t really remember anything thats happened so far so I want to reread this.

4. Noughts and Crosses by Malorie BlackmanI honestly have no idea how I’ve not read this book yet. Everyone I know who have read it has rated it 5 stars and talk to highly of it. I can’t wait to experience it for myself!

5. The Hunger Games by Suzanne CollinsHonestly. I’ve never read nor watched The Hunger Games. But now is the time to change! I’d like to read the entire trilogy soon and then go on to watch the films. It’s one of the most popular YA trilogies ever released and I am so excited!

6. House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. MaasI loved the ACOTAR trilogy By Sarah J. Maas and I’ve been waiting for this one to be released for so long, really excited! I bought the waterstones special edition the day it was release and its so beautiful.

7. The Flat Share by Beth O’LearyThis genre isn’t usually my sort of thing but this book has had nothing but praise since it’s been released so I am excited to get to it soon.

8. The Hunting Party by Lucy FoleyAgain, I have owned this book for a while and I’ve heard great things. I’m really in a psychological thriller mood and I hope this doesn’t disappoint.

9. Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia OwensLike above, I am in a big thriller mood and I’ve been recommended this book so many times!

10. Wolf by Wolf by Ryan GraudinI love historical fiction but I don’t own many books in the genre. I am so excited for this one since I saw a booktuber read and rave about it.

11. Outlander by Diana GabaldonI read this years ago and DNFd it about 40% through but one of my friend absolutely adores it and has persuaded me to give it one last go.

12. The Five by Hallie RubenholdI never read non-fiction books but this one really intrigued me so I picked it up. I am excited to see what the hype is all about!

13. The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha ShannonThe only reason why I haven’t read this book yet is because it’s HUGE. Literally humongous. But I am ready.

14. Skyward by Brandon SandersonAnother Brandon Sanderson book! This is his sci-fi book. I never read sci-fi but I’m definitely gonna give it a try.

15. Kingdom of Souls by Rena BarronThis is a book I bought solely because its absolutely beautiful. The hardcover and under the dust jacket is literally gorgeous, and I hope the story matches it!

16. Serpent and Dove by Selby MahurinI bought this book purely because of the hype. I have no idea what it is about and I bought it because of the cover.

17. Watching You by Lisa JewellLisa Jewell has become my favourite thriller author since reading The Family Upstairs. And since then, I’ve read nearly all of her books and this one is next on my list!

18. Ninth House by Leigh BardugoI loved The Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo so I have high hopes for Ninth House.

19. Northern Lights by Philip PullmanI’ve tried to read this book before and I couldn’t get into it, but since that my friends have read it and loved it so I am going to give it another go.

20. House of Salt and Sorrows by Erin A. Craig

This is another book that I got because of the cover. Its literally beautiful! I have no idea what it’s about but I am excited to get to it.There you have it! These are the twenty books I’d like to read soon.Let me know if you’ve read any of them and if you liked them!
