I am aware that this post is really late, but I have been super busy lately. I have university essays due, I am reading books for two book clubs I am apart of so I haven’t really had the time to write a post.
I only read two books in the month of September (yikes!) but I thought I would talk about them regardless.
Anyway, here are the books I read during the month of September:
Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix by J.K Rowling
I have finally continued my reread of the Harry Potter books! Only few people know that I really dislike the Goblet of Fire therefore I skipped it completely and just continued on to this book as I don’t want to force myself to read something I didn’t want to. I actually really don’t understand why I dislike the Goblet of Fire so much, I just never liked the movie and couldn’t get past a few chapters of the book which is surprising considering it is a lot of people’s favourite. Anyway, The Order of The Phoenix was absolutely amazing. It is 100% a five-star read for me and I flew through it considering just how big the book is (and big books intimidate me). This series just makes me feel like so warm inside, and I feel so content when I read them. They’re like therapy for me. I am currently reading The Half-Blood Prince which I am loving just as much. I am going to be so sad when this reread is over but I only have to wait until next Autumn to read them again.
Again, this book was incredible and is definitely one of my favourites of the series.
My Sister, The Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite
I am going to review this in a separate book-club post. However, I rated it four stars and really enjoyed it!
Those were the books that I read in the month of October. I am really disappointed to be honest because in September I read so many books, but it’s cool. There’s always November to make up for it.
Thank you for reading,
