My Bookish Wish List πŸ“š

Hello bookworms!

I’m here today to bring you something I’ve been seeing all over my bookish Twitter recently: my book wish list!

I’ve enjoyed seeing everybody’s wish lists on my social media, and it has given me motivation to do my own. These are books that I am hoping to buy within the next couple of months.

So, without further ado, these are the books I am hoping to buy sometime soon:

1. The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer

I have reading only Cinder so far, however I own the first two on my kindle but I’d love to have them as a physical copy. They are beautiful looking books and I’ve heard the story inside is just as beautiful too.

2. Dance of Thieves by Mary E. Pearson

The first thing thing that interested me about this book was the cover. The cover is beautiful. I haven’t read anything by Mary E. Pearson before but I own The Kiss of Deception and I hope to get to it soon.

3. Heart of Thorns by Bree Barton

This is a book that I’ve been seeing all over instagram recently, and everyone has been saying such good things about it. Also, the cover… I’m a sucker for a good cover.

4. Sea Witch by Sarah Henning

I’ve been seeing this all over Booktube recently, probably because it’s a new release. Again, I’ve heard good things which means that it’s gone straight on my “to buy” list.

5. Fawkes by Nadine Brandes

This is a book which has really intrigued me. The premise is different, and unlike anything I have ever read before.

6. My Plain Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodie Ashton and Jodi Meadows

I read My Lady Jane and loved it! I knew as soon as I had finished it that I was going to get the next book by these authors. The first book had me in tears of laughter and that doesn’t always happen to me.

7. Ever The Hunted by Erin Summerill

I’ve been interested in this book for a while, and the cover is gorgeous. I see this book quite often on bookstagram and I have only ever heard good things.

8. The Poppy War by R. F. Kuang

This is a book that I actually don’t know much about. However, it has completely blown up recently! I’ve been hearing about it on Twitter, Facebook, Booktube and Tumblr and I have heard nothing negative. I want to join in on the hype and love it, too.

9. Ruby Red by Kerstin Gier

I’ve wanted to read this book since I heard it being compared to the Daughter of Smoke and Bone. I really, really liked DoSaB which makes me feel as though I will like Ruby Red, too.

10. The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender by Leslye Walton

The main reason I want to read this book is due to it being a magical realism book. I don’t think I have read many books in that genre. I am also told it’s beautifully written and that Leslye Walton is an amazing author.

11. The Dreadful Tale of Prosper Redding by Alexandra Bracken

As you all probably know (as I can’t stop shutting up about it) I’m currently reading The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken and I am honestly loving it so much. I own Passenger and Wayfarer by her so I want this book to add to my collection.

12. Godsgrave by Jay Kristoff

I own Nevernight, but have I read it yet? Of course not, my TBR is in the hundreds. However, I want Godsgrave so I can binge read this series ready for the next one to be released. I own both the audiobooks so I’m ready to begin!

Now, I think it goes without saying that there are hundreds of more books I could’ve put on this list, but that would’ve made this post insanely long. I could do so many more of these sort of posts, I’m thinking I might do one every couple of months – they’re so much fun.

Anyway, thank you for reading!
