Monthly TBR | August 2018 ๐Ÿ“š

Ahhh, hello again! I’m really into blogging right now and this is my third post in just a couple of days!

For this post, I’m bringing to you my August TBR ๐Ÿ“š I’m normally a mood-reader, so this TBR can change but for now, this is what I’d like to read!

1. Never Fade by Alexandra Bracken

I’m currently reading The Darkest Minds and living for it! I’m having so much fun reading it, to the point where I get excited when I wake up in the mornings because I can read it.

2. Clockwork Angel

I’m currently reading City of Glass and I’ve been told to read Clockwork Angel after that as you are apparently supposed to read it in publication order? I remember living TID when I first read it years ago so I’m really looking forward to getting into it.

3. Clockwork Prince

Same as above. I’m really looking forward to reading this.

4. Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik

This book is really huge, which intimidates me a bit but I’ve heard so many good things that I knew I had to buy it. I’m looking forward to a unique fairytale retelling.

5. Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas

I’m currently reading Heir of Fire and I’m 130 pages in, and I’m enjoying it this time around 10 times more than the first time I read it.

6. Orphan Monster Spy by Matt Killeen

World War 2 history is my favourite time to read about. This seems like such a unique historical fiction novel and it seems like such a blast.

7. Never World Wake by Marisha Pessl

I’m finally going to be able to read Never World Wake! I found it in my local Waterstones and I literally screamed with excitement.

There you have it! Those are which books I really want to read in the month of August.

Thank you for reading!

  1. I really need to read Orphan Monster Spy and Never World Wake, they both look like amazing books, I’ve heard so many great things about Pessl’s adult books and I was so excited to hear she was writing YA.
Great TBR, I hope you have a good reading month! โค

    1. Thank you! I hope you have a great reading month, too. Iโ€™ve always wanted to read Night Film by Marissa Pessl but Iโ€™ve never seen it sold anywhere in the UK so when I saw her YA debut I snatched it!
