Spring (Contemporary) Recommendations 🌻🌼

Hello bookworms! Today I’m here to recommend you all some books that think would be perfect to read during the Spring months.

In my opinion, Spring (and Summer) are the months that I would read Light, fluffy contemporary books… so that’s what I’m going to recommend to you!

So, here we go!
1. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

Fangirl is one of the cutest books I have ever read. I read it a couple of years ago and I have such lovely memories of this book. I remember reading it, in the Spring/Summer months sat in a field surrounded by Daffodils (and, let’s be honest, probably A LOAD of weeds, too) with my family and dogs. I adore this book and I am hoping to reread it this year.
2. Simon vs. The Homosapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli

I read this book late last year and really loved it. I am so damn excited to watch the film, too! This book has such a cute b/b romance which I loved and all the characters are so unique and the plot is so interesting. It’s just so cute and fluffy!!
3. My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton and Jodi Meadows

This isn’t a contemporary book but I think it has quite a fluffy, cute romance in it and it is so funny that I think it’s perfect for the Spring months.
4. The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater

Again, this book isn’t a contemporary book. HOWEVER, something to do with this book just reminds me of Spring and Summer. I don’t know why. Still, this quartet is brilliant and I recommend it greatly.
5. Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon

Now this book IS a contemporary novel with a cute, fluffy romance. However, this novel also has quite a tense plot which pulls you in from the start which is what I think makes it rather unique.
6. Isla and The Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins

This book is part of the Anna and The French Kiss trilogy (companion novels?). I didn’t really enjoy Anna or Lola but I really enjoyed Isla. It is a perfect book for the Spring months, it’s so cute.
There you have it. Those are my six recommendations for Spring. I hope you all enjoy them – please leave me a comment if you do! Also, please leave me a comment if there’s any books YOU recommend for Spring, I’d love to know them!
