My favourite YA trilogies/series📖

Hello guys, it’s Demi here. Bringing you my favourite young adult trilogies (and/or) series of all time.

As per usual, I have left Harry Potter off of this list as it’s obviously one of my favourite series ever. I wouldn’t have a massive thigh tattoo relating to it if I hated it. Also, I’m sure if I sat and thought about it for a couple of days, this list would be so long! So I have 100% left some books off of this list.

Here we go then!

1. The A Court of Thorns and Roses trilogy by Sarah J. Maas

These books are insanely good. They haven’t been released long but they have turned into a phenomenon in the YA literature world. The characters are made to feel like your best friends, the world is like something in your dreams and the writing is magical. I can not recommend this enough.

2. The Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout

We all know I can’t create a list without putting my favourite author on it. The Lux series introduced me to Jennifer’s writing so it will hold a special place in my heart forever.

3. The Infernal Devices trilogy by Cassandra Clare

The main thing I love about this trilogy is the time era it is set in. I love reading about this time in London, and of course the story itself is bloody brilliant too! Will is my fav.

4. The Covenant series by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Again, another Jennifer L. Armentrout Book. I’m a sucker for her creations. Alex is one of the most bad-ass characters I have ever read about, and I have such a soft spot for Seth, too. I also love the Titan series by JLA which follows Seth’s story.

5. The Maze Runner trilogy by James Dashner

I know a lot of people hate these books, and I can see that they have a lot of plot holes and stupid ideas in them but I just can’t help but love them. They are my guilty pleasure.

6. The Monsters of Verity duology by V. E. Schwab

I don’t even know if this is YA of Adult? But I just had to include this duology just in case. Our Dark Duet is definitely one of my favourite books of all time – and that is one heck of a statement to make!

7. The Raven Cycle series by Maggie Stiefvater

I am so late on the fangirling train for this series. I only read them this year but they are honestly so fabulous. They made me feel so warm whilst reading them, and I loved the friendship and the love the characters had for eachother thought these novels. I know why they are so loved throughout the book world.

8. The Hush, Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick

Unpopular opinion – I know. But I love these books so much. They got me into reading, had my first fictional boyfriend in and was the first angel book I ever read. They are so dear to me.

9. The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare

Do I need to explain? One of the most well-loved book series in existence and for good reason!

10. The Dark Artifices series by Cassandra Clare

I think whilst Cassandra was writing these books she was thinking “hmm… how can I break millions of hearts?” The two books that are out currently are so action packed and amazing but do really wreck you.

11. Saga by Brian K. Vaughn

One of the first graphic novels I ever read. They are so cool! The illustrations are so well done, and of course the story itself is great.

12. The Benedicts series by Joss Stirling

I remember reading these years ago and being a right sucker for the romances! They are so sweet, very warm but do also have some action in them. “Fluffy” is a work that comes to mind when thinking about these books.

3. The Chronicles of Ixia series by Maria V. Snyder

Admittedly I have only read the first two of this six book series, but they are just so good I need to put them on this list. The world building is really in-depth and the scenery that you imagine because of Maria’s descriptive writing is beautiful.

And there you have it! (Just) Some of my favourite YA series. Thanks for reading!
