Mini pay-day book haul 📚

So today is pay day (thank goodness, I was so poor) and to celebrate this fantastic day, me and my fiancée (Ollie) went out book shopping! Ollie really enjoys reading, too, so he’s always up for going book shopping.

Firstly, Ollie surprised me with the complete Grimm’s fairy tales. He knew I’ve been wanting to read this for ages, and was a star and picked it up for me as a surprise! I’m so lucky to have him.

Then, we both went into Waterstones where I bought three books: All The Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater,

Daughter of the Burning City by Amanda Foody,

And finally, The Sun and Her Flowers by Rupi Kaur.

I was going to call it a day at this point, but of course I can’t go into Bristol without going into Foyles!

In Foyles I only bought one book, and that was Seraphina by Rachel Hartman.

I am so happy with today’s purchases.

One more thing! It’s not a book, but Ollie bought me a cuddly toy of my favourite book character ever, the Cheshire Cat!

I am so happy!!

Thanks for reading, please comment your favourite new purchase – I might just need to purchase it too!
