It’s coming up Christmas, which means book giving and receiving for me! Then after Christmas in January, it’s my birthday and that means receiving even more books. I honestly cannot wait.
I’m already having my fiancée and family asking me for a list of books I’d like, so I thought I’d post my wishlist on here – and if you think of any more I could add on to the list (recommendations) please feel free to comment and let me know!
A List of Cages – Robin Roe
I have wanted this book since I read Adam Silvera’s HIAYLM and TBDATE. Apparently this book is very similar as it is a contemporary novel which deals with a lot of mental health. Also, I see it so hyped around booktube.
The Valiant – Lesley Livingston
I have wanted this book since it came out. The hype around it is so high, I hope it lives up to its reputation and impresses me. I’m in such a fantasy kick right now, I’m loving all things fantastical.
Vicious – V E Schwab
I read V E Schwab’s Monsters of Verity duology this year and Our Dark Duet has become one of my favourite books of all time. I’m on a mission to buy and read all of Victoria’s books, and Vicious is one I’m most desperate to read.
Ask The Passengers – A. S. King
I have only heard good things about this. I have no idea what it’s about but I think I want to go into this book blind.
The Diviners – Libby’s Bray
The cover of this book is so gorgeous! I also began reading it on my kindle but I just couldn’t get into it, so I’m hoping having a physical copy of it will help me to get into it.
Alienated – Melissa Landers
The Girl of Fire and Thorns – Rae Carson
Rae Carson is such a hyped up fantasy author, and since I am on a fantasy kick I do think I should try this book! Plus, the cover is well sexy.
Finnikin of The Rock – Melina Marchetta
Again, it’s a fantasy book and I’m on a massive fantasy kick.
The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender – Leslye Walton
Night Film – Marisha Pessl
This book seems so spooky! I’ve wanted to read it since I read read Chris Carter’s books at the beginning of the year. I love crime books.
Cruel Beauty – Rosamund Hodge
I think this book is a retelling of a fairy tale which is why I want to read it. Who knows, I just really love the cover (I have problems).
The Madman’s Daughter – Megan Shepherd
How spooky is this book! This book has been on my to-buy list for 2 years now, it’s about time I get around to it I think!
These are just a couple of books on my wishlist! Most of these books have been on my wishlist for over a year, so I think it’s time I finally get around to buying them.
